In Times of Crisis 36″ x 48″

Ya know, artist often paint what they feel, how they feel or what they see. This one is titled “In Times of Crisis” and at the time that I painted this, the world was. I hate to bring COVID-19 up but I believe in all crises, some good will prevail…and boy did it ever. Yes, the world was shut down but it also brought out the best in us. We helped those we would have never helped before! People gave things away to those in need. People cared about others lives and helped out however they could. It was something to read/see!! It gave me back my faith if people and I think it made others take a step back and think the same as me. So when I look at this painting now, I don’t think of the bad instead I remember the good it brought out in people and my faith restored! You will notice when the sun/light hits this painting, the gold that is running thru this, shines bright!. Every time you see that gold shine, I hope you remember the good in people, like I do. 🙂
